GENERAL INFORMATION
ELLA Global Community is an international organization dedicated to inspiring, connecting and improving the lives of queer women and nonbinary people from all backgrounds around the world.
ELLA works to create spaces where queer women and nonbinary people can feel visible, respected, empowered and free to affirm their identity without fear.
Through festivals, events, talks, professional networks, community projects, research and international initiatives, ELLA promotes visibility, empowerment, equality, diversity, inclusion and social change.
The mission of ELLA Global Community is to champion the visibility and empowerment of queer women and nonbinary people through the power of community and innovation.
ELLA works to create platforms where people can feel inspired, strengthen their community, raise awareness about their identity and address the challenges they face as a result of discrimination and inequality.
ELLA Global Community is guided by values that shape everything it does.

These values mean standing together, respecting differences, creating inclusive spaces, recognising the diversity of lived experiences and having the courage to drive social change.
ELLA Global Community was created to increase the visibility of queer women and nonbinary people from all backgrounds and to provide a platform where their voices, needs and experiences could be recognised.
The organization works to build community, promote equality, create opportunities for connection and support initiatives that empower queer women and nonbinary people around the world.
ELLA Global Community is for queer women and nonbinary people from all backgrounds.
This includes lesbian, bisexual, trans and queer women, nonbinary people and people whose identities and experiences are part of the wider LGBTIQ+ community.
ELLA also welcomes allies who respect and support the purpose, safety and values of the community.
ELLA understands community in an intersectional way.
“From all backgrounds” means recognising differences such as race, generation, class, ability, body, faith, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and life experience.
ELLA believes that these differences enrich the community and that every person deserves to feel valued, respected and represented.

Yes. ELLA Festival Mallorca 2026 marks the 10th summer edition of ELLA Mallorca.
This is a very important milestone for ELLA, as the festival has grown over the years into an international meeting point for queer women and nonbinary people from many different countries.
The 2026 edition celebrates the history of ELLA Mallorca, the strength of its community and the international growth of ELLA Global Community.
ELLA Festival Mallorca takes place in Palma and in different selected locations across the island of Mallorca.
The programme is designed to allow participants to experience different sides of the island, including the city, the sea, nature, gastronomy, nightlife, cultural spaces and unique Mediterranean venues.
Each activity has its own location, which will be shared through the official programme and ticket information.
ELLA Festival Mallorca includes a wide range of experiences, such as talks, workshops, wellness activities, cultural moments, live performances, DJs, parties, excursions, dinners, networking opportunities and community gatherings.

ELLA Talks is a project created to share the knowledge and experiences of influential queer women and nonbinary people with the wider community.
Through live presentations, panels and conversations, ELLA Talks brings together leaders, experts, activists, entrepreneurs, artists and voices from different sectors such as academia, civil society, politics, culture and the private sector.
The goal is to inspire discussion, create positive references and strengthen the community.
ELLA Pro is an international network of professional queer women and nonbinary people.
Its objective is to connect professionals, inspire collaboration and create business synergies through events, workshops, conferences and professional networking spaces.
ELLA Pro supports professional visibility, collaboration, empowerment and the sharing of success stories within the community.
ELLA Families offers support to queer families and single parents who are queer women and nonbinary people.
The project creates events, workshops and conferences adapted to the needs and concerns of inclusive families.
It is part of ELLA’s wider mission to support the community at different life stages and in different family realities.

Its aim is to promote and support initiatives in different countries that advance the cause of queer women and nonbinary people.
Working with civil society, institutions, organizations and local communities, ELLA promotes three key elements: visibility, community action and empowerment.
ELLA has developed festivals, events and community experiences in different international locations.
This includes annual editions in Mallorca, special editions in Switzerland and Germany, and international experiences connected to destinations such as Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia.
ELLA has also organized winter editions and international gatherings, reflecting its mission to create spaces for queer women and nonbinary people beyond one single destination.

The ELLA app has been a digital space created by and for queer women and nonbinary people.
It was designed as a place to belong, be yourself and connect with people locally and around the world through curated content, community events and digital connection.
The ELLA Global Community app is currently disabled while ELLA explores new ways to connect the community.
